Refrigerant CO2
CO2 as a natural refrigerant, also known as R744, is the climate-friendly alternative to chemical refrigerants commonly used today. It is environmentally friendly, has a high cooling capacity, is non-flammable and does not form any decomposition products. In addition, it is cost-effective and permanently available.
Konvekta CO2 heat pump
The principle is quite simple: Heat or cold is extracted from a natural energy source (air) to use it for heating in winter or cooling in summer. One KW of energy becomes 3 KW of power (COP Coefficient of Performance = 3). The Konvekta CO2 heat pump uses CO2 (R-744) as a carrier medium.
